New Year’s Resolutions after 10 days

  1. Get into shape: December was far better than January for walking… I have only hit my 10 000 steps a day target on five out of ten days so far… (December 28 out of 31)
  2. Sleep: Get to bed before midnight.  I have achieved this every night apart from 31st December when I saw the New Year in. This is going well. 7-9 hours sleep a night. Only one night, I woke up early and couldn’t get back to sleep….Tuesday 7 January (awoke at 6:15).
  3.  Eat healthier food, and less food overall. Too many sweets, crisps and even a visit to McDonalds.
  4. Read more: 1 book finished Book Review: “Paper Towns” by John Green, I should finish one a week, to hit my target of 50 books in a year.
  5. Start Saving Money: No action on this resolution.
  6. Learn Georgian: learnt the conjugations of two verbs and have done the Memrise speed review on most days. Still need to do more.
  7. Pick up useful skills or fun hobbies. I assembled a set for Lego Movie Maker. Hope to make some brickfilms soon.
  8. Travel more. I haven’t left Tbilisi yet.
  9. Visit the Dentist. Not yet.
  10. Learn to cook new recipes:Nope

Of the 10 resolutions, only sleep is doing well, too many aren’t out of the starting blocks.
